How do you like your Ricoh 500 G? My mother-in-law has one collecting dust that she may lend to me. I normally shoot with A Rollei 35 S and I originally thought the images would come out very similar but now I’m not so sure.

rollei 35s is probably sharper (at least with f/2.8 lense), but ricoh is not bad either. i don’t shoot much with it these days, but i was happy with results, even wide open.
500g needs light seals replacement, that’s what i would do first with this camera (or any other with similar age), otherwise go for it, why not?
